Entrepreneurs Have One Week Left to Apply for Romania’s First Urban Mobility Accelerator

July 9, 2025 – Start-ups developing urban mobility solutions have just one week left to apply to inVest – Urban Mobility Accelerator, the first initiative in Romania dedicated exclusively to transforming the way people and goods move in urban environments.
The deadline is July 16, 2025, at 17:00.

What does the program offer?

  • Up to €18,500 in funding per start-up
  • Specialized mentorship, pilot opportunities in cities across the Western Region, and access to investors and public authorities
  • Participation in Demo Day Timișoara, where solutions will be publicly showcased to regional investors and city officials

What is urban mobility?

The way people get around is changing fast: traffic congestion, air pollution, and outdated infrastructure are no longer just urban inconveniences — they’re global challenges. That’s where urban mobility comes in.

Urban mobility refers to all systems and services that facilitate the movement of people and goods in urban areas. From metro lines to e-scooters, from delivery robots to smart parking sensors, the term covers a vast ecosystem. But beyond infrastructure, it’s about reinventing cities to be more accessible, sustainable, and intelligent.

And if there’s a community ready to tackle this challenge with fresh vision and bold solutions, it’s the entrepreneurial one.
